LiPure™ MagBead Gel Extraction Kit utilizes magnetic bead technology to purify DNA fragments ranging from 100 bp to 10 kb from all grades of agarose gels, with high recovery rates (>80%). The kit employs a specialized binding buffer system that dissolves the gel slice and allows DNA to bind to the magnetic beads. Following the binding step, two rapid wash steps are performed, and the DNA is eluted using the provided elution buffer. The purified DNA is immediately ready for various downstream applications, including ligations, PCR amplification, restriction enzyme digestion, cloning, and labeling reactions.
