Protein A/G Magnetic Beads are produced by covalently binding high-purity recombinant Protein A/G to polymer magnetic microspheres. The beads have a mean diameter of 1 μm. Recombinant Protein A/G contains five Fc binding domains derived from Protein A and two Fc binding domains derived from Protein G, resulting in stronger binding affinity than either Protein A or Protein G alone. The product features a large specific surface area and a high number of antibody binding sites, which significantly shortens antibody adsorption time and reduces non-specific binding.
