rProtein G FF column is prepacked with rProtein G Sepharose™ Fast Flow resin for the purification of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies from most species, including rat.
The recombinant protein G ligand (produced in E. coli) is coupled to Sepharose™ Fast Flow resin using the CNBr method. This coupling technique is optimized to provide high binding capacity for IgG.
The special design of the column, together with the resin, enables fast, simple, and convenient separations. The column can be operated with a syringe, peristaltic pump, or liquid chromatography system such as ÄKTA™.
Key Features
• High binding capacity: approximately 20 mg human IgG per mL of resin.
• Broad-spectrum: binds to a wide range of IgG species and subclasses.
• Complements Protein A resins: unlike Protein A, Protein G binds all human and mouse IgG subclasses, including human IgG3 and mouse IgG1, as well as all rat IgG subclasses.
• Simple operation: compatible with a syringe, pump, or high-performance chromatography system such as ÄKTA™.
