LiPure™ Gel Extraction Kit utilizes proprietary spin-column technology to purify DNA fragments ranging from 100 bp to 10 kb from all grades of agarose gels, with high recovery rates (>80%). The kit employs a specialized binding buffer system that dissolves the gel slice and facilitates DNA binding to the spin column. Following the binding step, three rapid wash steps are performed, and the DNA is eluted using the provided elution buffer. The purified DNA is immediately ready for various downstream applications, including ligations, PCR amplification, restriction enzyme digestion, cloning, and labeling reactions.
