The Deep Red FM Mitochondria Stain is a Near IR-fluorescent dye that stains mitochondria in live cells, serving as an alternative to MitoTracker Deep Red FM. Its accumulation is dependent upon membrane potential. The dye is not well-retained after aldehyde fixation.
